Who we are
Bringing hope to rural communities in Nimba County
GDA/USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit working alongside local organizations, government agencies and volunteers. Our approach is holistic — meeting immediate needs while building long-term, self-sufficient and resilient communities.
Our story
What we do
Six essential services
Comprehensive support for rural Liberian communities across six critical areas.
Safe Drinking Water
Installing and maintaining wells, boreholes and purification systems to prevent waterborne disease and ease the burden on women and children who traditionally collect water.
Mobile Healthcare
Diagnosis, annual checkups, treatment and preventive care through mobile medical units that reach remote villages without health facilities.
Housing Assistance
Housing repairs and new construction using local materials, while training community members in sustainable building techniques.
Education & Skills Training
Primary education, adult literacy and vocational training in agriculture, carpentry, tailoring and other marketable skills.
Agriculture Assistance
Training in sustainable farming, distribution of improved seeds and tools, and support for farmer cooperatives with better market access.
Bridging the Digital Gap
Community technology centers and digital literacy training that open access to information, education and economic opportunity.
